On 26th September Webinar on the ‘Scope and Opportunities of Hydroponics and Aeroponics in Odisha’ was conducted by the Odisha Corporate Foundation. The webinar was graced by eminent speakers, Dr Subhasis Mondal, Dr Dinkar J. Gaikwad, Pramod Ku. Behera and Gokulnanda Pattnaik. It was hosted by Premananda Biswal and the moderators were D Shuvam and Krishna N. The webinar was able to shed light on the importance of hydroponics in agriculture and also how it can help young entrepreneurs to take up profitable high tech agriculture. With the growing need of modernisation in farming, hydroponics and aeroponics are two such practices which have the ability to provide efficient and profitable results.
