According to ISMA, it was evaluated that the sugar production in the country in this present year is 187.08 lakh tonnes as compared to the previous year. Various states like Karnataka UP, etc have raised their production. According to a report on 31 January 2022 sugar production has increased by 5.6 percent which is a boon to this sector.
