Pisciculture is one of the valuable cultivation in the farming sector. The district collector of Gajapati Odisha along with other members of that region has inaugurated this new mission on 15 August (75 Independence day). Pisciculture in GP tanks by mission Shaktishgs has been one of the most successful livelihood convergence initiatives. During the current financial year, 1400 HA of GP tanks have already been tagged to SHGs.
