Ms. Deepti Kushwaha has only insured the lentil crop in 2020 under the Prime Minister’s Fasal Bima Yojana. 3000 was done by paying a premium. Due to heavy rains, his entire crop was ruined, after which he had to go under the scheme. Rupees 1,05,000 was received directly into the bank account.
This is a bright and clear cut example of how the scheme is very much beneficial for farmers.
