Minsiter Dharmendra Pradhan tweeted that in the ongoing Kharif marketing season 2020-21, GOI continues to procure Kharif crops at its MSP from farmers as per existing MSP schemes. About 21 lakh farmers have already been benefitted from the ongoing KMS procurement with #MSP value of ₹43620.10 crore.
Until 4th November 2020, 231.04 LMTs of paddy was procured, which is an increase of 20% over last year during the same period.
Farmers of Punjab & Haryana have benefitted the most by jointly contributing over 90% of paddy procured by the GoI in this season. #AatmaNirbharKrishi #MSPHaiAurRahega
