Potato price in market have risen sharply
Now a days the potato prices in market have risen suddenly. The main reason behind the sharp increase in price may be of lower yield due to the damage caused to crops by erratic rains in November last year.
Based on the data given by ministry of consumer affair the retail price for potato was Rs 26 per kg on Saturday, up 10.18% month-on-month and 32% year-on-year.
