Recently it was decided that millet-based food will be provided to the prisoners in Jharpada jail. For this reason, a millet food-tasting festival was held inside the jail in which various dishes prepared from millets were introduced. During this festive chief guest principal secretary DA&FE, Dr Arabinda Kumar Padhee was present and emphasised on the importance of millets in the food. Biscuits, Bun, and bread will be given to the prisoners which will be made from millet. Mission Shakti cafe will provide an adequate amount of food to this jail.
