The featuring of the inclusive architecture and expressive cultural heritage of the The Krushi Bhavan, Odisha in the popular London based online architecture, interior and design magazine Dezeen, has spread a spark of joy and pride in our country. The project was commissioned to Studio Lotus in 2013 and it was opened to public on September 20, 2018. The project costed around 70 crores and emerged as an example of how regional crafts can be integrated in a contemporary environment. it showcased the unique art and cultural heritage of Odisha. Its beauty and grace resonates in the heart of everyone. The simplicity and the intricacy of the building was successful in portraying the core of agricultural importance in our culture.

The article was published on DeZeen’s August 23rd edition entitled ‘Studio Lotus creates intricate brickwork facade for government building in India’. In 2019, this architectural masterpiece was shortlisted for the World Architecture Festival (WAF) Award.
