Odisha General Financial Rules (OGFRs) are a compilation of rules and order of the State Government to be followed by all while dealing with matters involving public finances. These rules and orders are treated as executive instructions to be observed by all Departments and Organisations under the Government and specified Bodies expect otherwise provided for in these Rules.
At senior officers Meeting today, chaired by principal secretary Dr.Arabinfa Kumar Padhee, presentations were delivered on board pointers of Odisha Government Financial Rules (OGFR) and key learning from the 6th International Rice Congress 2023 held on 16-19 Oct at Manila, Philippines.
The International Rice Congress is a scientific platform for rice based food system innovators to work toward shaping food and nutrition-secure future. Convened by the International Rice Research Institute (IRRI) every four years, the Congress brings together Scientists,experts and decision makers from the Government,private and public sectors to formulate evidence-based solutions to some of the biggest challenges of the global rice sector.
Dr.Padhee also reviewed performance across verticals of all three Directorates under DA&FE in presence of Director of Agriculture & FP Shri. Prem Chandra Choudhary and Director of Horticulture Shri Rohit Kumar Lenka.
