Each year, PM-KISAN offers financial support totaling ₹6,000, divided into three installments of ₹2,000 each. The 21st installment is part of this ongoing cycle, and it comes at a time when farmers are preparing for the next cropping season. The government has locked the release date for 19 November 2025. Payments will be transferred directly into the bank accounts registered under the PM-KISAN scheme. Launched in 2019, the PM-KISAN scheme provides small and marginal farming families guaranteed income support aimed at improving farm stability, ensuring liquidity for crop-related expenses, and creating a financial safety net against market and weather uncertainties. Till now, more than ₹3.70 lakh crore has been disbursed to over 11 crore farmer families across India through 20 installment. The funds assist farmers in purchasing farm inputs and covering other expenses like marriage, education, and medical costs.
