The Mukhyamantri Krushi Udyog Yojana (MKUY) project list for 2025 includes diverse projects across the agriculture, animal husbandry, horticulture, and fisheries sectors. Key projects feature commercial farming and processing in agriculture e.g., groundnut, maize, fisheries and horticulture. For the upcoming Rabi maize cultivation, a two-day Residential Review cum Strategy Meeting under the Mukhyamantri Maka Mission was conducted for Central and Zone III. Key discussions were focused on FPC management and convergence with the MKUY scheme.
Chief Minister Maize Mission (MMM) is a scheme of the Government of Odisha, which aims to increase the productivity of maize and the area under cultivation. Under this mission, the focus is on increasing the income of farmers and providing them better market access. The mission works to organize maize production into clusters, reduce production costs and ensure easy market access for processors.
