They aim to enhance the implementation of certain aspects of the PM-KUSUM scheme. It is caught up in a lot of tendering currently related delays.
Under this scheme, solar panels are installed on their rooftops, providing them with access to free energy. This initiative aims to alleviate the financial burden on low-income citizens by eliminating their need to pay energy bills, thereby promoting self-reliance and seamless access to energy resources. The PM Suryaghar Muft Bijli Yojana, which aims to install rooftop solar units for 10 million households.
