Overseas buyers stocked Pakistani onions, leading to a crash in prices. Though India reversed the export ban on onions 10 days ago, export demand has dried up as Indian onion is more expensive than Pakistan’s. One of the primary factors hindering the export demand for Indian onions is the notable price difference between Indian and Pakistani verities.

Overseas buyers stocked Pakistani onions, leading to a crash in prices. Exporters say that now Indian onion has become more expensive than Pakistani onion.
