Representatives of self-help women groups were felicitated at the Saras livelihood fair. The fair had 60 stalls where self-help women groups displayed their products. Beauty and perfume products, traditional clothing, handicrafts, household items, Sakhi leather products, organic plants and health care products, agriculture products, sanitation redressal, Saras taste and health facility products manufactured by the self-help groups were displayed in the fair.
The Agarbatti SHG of Jagatsinghpur securing first position for highest sales, and the Golden Grass SHG of Kendrapara winning second position in the best product category, is a matter of pride for the State. Our Subhadras exemplify resilience, creativity and enterprise, reflecting the true strength of Nari Shakti. The Government of Odisha remains steadfast in its commitment to women empowerment by promoting self-reliance and expanding opportunities for women-led livelihoods across the State.
