The program will feature a series of activities aimed at showcasing the nutritional and ecological benefits of millets, which have been a staple in traditional farming systems. The Millet Day celebration aligns with India’s broader push to revive traditional grains and promote sustainable agriculture.
The event will bring together farmers, agricultural scientists, policymakers, and stakeholders from across the state. Exhibitions, workshops, and cultural programs are expected to highlight the role of millets in food security, climate resilience, and rural livelihoods.
