The Adivasi Mela 2025 inaugurated by Hon’ble Chief Minister Shri Mohan Charan Majhi on January 5 at the IDCO exhibition ground. During the opening ceremony, the Hon’ble Chief Minister lit the ceremonial lamp and offered flowers to Lord Jagannath and Bhagwan Birsha Munda, honouring odisha’s rich cultural heritage. Mission Shakti SHGs representing Odisha’s vibrant tribal districts, are showcasing their craftsmanship at the Adivasi Mela 2025, IDCO Exhibition Ground, Bhubaneswar.
Tribal craftsmanship in India is a diverse and rich tradition that includes a wide range of art forms and handicrafts. From organic produce to handwoven crafts, their products are winning hearts and celebrating the spirit of empowerment. Woven textiles are a common feature of many indigenous communities. Tribal craftsmanship is a way of life, and traditional techniques are passed down from generation to generation.
