Millets cultivation in Odisha is one of the highest production in India. Millets is a crop which contains high nutrition and is more balanced in amino acids. In the last five years Odisha has recorded an increase in millet production from 3333 hectares to 53230 in 2022. Even the average yield has improved by 28 per cent because of sustainable agricultural practices and quality seeds. By doing this cultivation a farmer can earn upto 19765 every month. This is a best agricultural practice in all over India and in future India is going to break all the records in the millet cultivation.
